Cherry upside-down cupcakes with cream cheese frosting.
I used maraschino cherries with brown sugar and butter to make the
upside-down
mix and topped that with white cake mix with mixed in cherry sprinkles.
Mmmmm.
Cream cheese frosting and red & clear sprinkles.
I was really happy with how these turned out. Upside-down cupcakes are my favorite to experiment with. I'm going to try a strawberry next!
Note: paper cupcake liners aren't great for this--the foil kind work much better.
