Eggplant and sundried tomato pizza, with pesto and parm, on no-yeast dough.

I tried a no-yeast dough recipe and added marinara, parm, eggplant and sundried tomatoes.

Out of the oven and ready for a little pesto.

Mmmmm! Mmmm mmmm mmmm! This was so yummy! The dough turned out really well. Light crunch on the outside and soft inside.

Eggplant parm sandwich.

I loooove me some eggplant parm! :)

I buy the eggplant bundles at Trader Joe's and they are a lot for one person. I usually prepare one and freeze it--which will last me forever, and eggplant reheats well. I try to eat the other one fresh though, meaning, I'll be posting a lot of eggplant this week!

Light strawberry swirl cheesecake with almond meal crust.

It looked prettier before..

Light, but good.

Benihana, Japantown, SF.

I'm from Spokane, WA, so every once in awhile I get to be my tacky suburban self and go to places like Benihana. Haha I had never been and right now they are doing their anniversary dinner special for $45 for two, so P and I decided to go.

Yummy soup with fried onion bits.

Salad with gingery dressing.

Spicy tuna sushi roll.

Saaaaauces.

Awwwww.

Yummy fried rice.

Seafood.

Lobster tail.

Meat and veggies.

The cook did this volcano thing with the onions. I didn't get a photo of it though.

Yummy.

And they even gave us ice cream for dessert!
