While organizing some of my old photos, I came across this one of a brunch I threw at my old apartment! I cooked for my old roommates, Eden and Shoko, and our neighbor, Pat. Starting from the top left we have:
-Cornbread
-Strawberry and banana slices for the French toast
-Fresh squeezed orange juice
-Sausages
-Two different omelets.
-Apple, cinnamon, cheddar paninis
-Cinnamon swirl French toast
-Yogurt with mixed berries
Mmmm! That was a great brunch. I'd forgotten about that panini recipe! I put it together based on a wonderful dish I had at a restaurant in Pittsburgh last summer. I used Eden's panini press, but I'll have to see if I can make it on P's stovetop grill.
