Afternoon fries and mussels at Frijts, Mission, SF.

Arles Mussels. :) I was SO excited to get the Arles mussels! I hadn't thought about my trip to Arles, France, in SO long, but I loved it and felt all nostalgic. :)

The mussels were nice, but I don't really understand mussels. I mean, they are tasty and meaty, but I don't understand having them as a meal. They just aren't filling enough! I feel like they should be eaten like oysters, as an appetizer of sorts. :)
