After dinner, my friend Audrey and I went for a mellow (avoiding all Irish pubs!) drink at Fat Angel. It opened up near me just a bit ago, and I had been meaning to check it out. Luckily they had Pimm's so I got a Pimm's Royal, which was lovely and v Irish (okay, British, but close enough!), considering they didn't have beer! ;)I'm SO excited about this spot. They've got a great menu with yummy small plates and an excellent wine list. The space is amazing, too. I love the casual-chic French cafe feel they've worked out with the rustic, yet elegant decor. They're currently working on a brunch menu to launch next month--eep! You know where I'll be! :)
