So people rave about Tommy's Joynt, and sure it's a fun landmark spot with great prices, but their BBQ brisket sandwich wasn't anything to rave about. It was bread heavy, and not good bread. The sauce was a bit lacking, too. I guess you're supposed to order the dinner plates--I didn't know! Maybe I'll try it again, maybe not. Haha. :) Friday, March 12, 2010
Lunch at Tommy's Joynt, Van Ness, SF.
So people rave about Tommy's Joynt, and sure it's a fun landmark spot with great prices, but their BBQ brisket sandwich wasn't anything to rave about. It was bread heavy, and not good bread. The sauce was a bit lacking, too. I guess you're supposed to order the dinner plates--I didn't know! Maybe I'll try it again, maybe not. Haha. :)
