Dinner at Silvertone, Downtown, Bosotn.

Clam Chowder

I couldn't leave without having some New England clam chowder! This was actually too runny, but yummy nonetheless.

Summer Salad w/ goat cheese & pine nuts

We went tapas style and shared salad, calamari and our entree--very good move on our part.

Steak Tips in Long Island marinade w/ mashed potatoes greens
Fried Calamari w/ spicy sauce, leeks & aioli

The steak tips were particularly nice. :)

Brunch with Jen at Trident Booksellers & Cafe, Back Bay , Boston.

CAPPUCCINO MILKSHAKE Coffee ice cream, chocolate syrup, espresso, and chocolate milk $4.75

POTATO CHUCKWAGON Shredded potatoes cooked with cheddar cheese and choice of: One meat: (Chorizo, Chicken Apple Sausage, or Ham) and Two Veggies: (Mushroom, Tomato, Peppers, Onion); Topped with two eggs any style and served with a side of toast $9.95

MORNING MONTE CRISTO Two fried eggs, Canadian bacon, raspberry preserves & cheddar cheese between two slices of challah bread French toast $9.95

It was so nice catching up with Jen! And this spot was great. I love a good bookstore, and one with a fun cafe is even better! Newbury St. is suuper cute, too.

It was harder than I thought it would be to find weekday brunch in Boston though.. I guess I'm spoiled in SF (West coast foodie heaven) and Spokane (Retired people like their weekday brunch!). :)

Korean cooking-in night at Elisha's, Chestnut Hill, Boston.

Yay! Delicious. So fun having home-cooked Korean while reuniting with friends from Korea! :)

Wraps at Mr. Bartley's, Harvard Sq, Boston.

The legendary Mr. Bartley's burger joint!!!

And, of course, I fail and get a wrap. I definitely should have gotten a burger. The wrap was fine, but I don't really like wraps. They always look good on the menu though! The mac 'n cheese was actually not very good either. Sad.

The bolognase was one of the specials that evening.

New Saigon Sandwiches, Chinatown, Boston.

Elisha knew a great spot for a little craving.
