Little goodie bags at Glide's Bringing Down The House! I was promoting this event this week on the SF Station Arts page, but didn't put in a request to go.. Then my friend Edric asked if I wanted to go so it all worked out!

That's Robin Williams in the middle! The whole show was a lot of singing and comedy and was good fun, but it was particularly cook to see Robin Williams in SF! He had a pretty funny set and his style is so old-school now for comedy so that was cool to experience, too.

I have to say, Glide really knows how to put on an event! The show was about an hour, which is the perfect length, and then it was food, food, food!

There were so many different stations and the place was absolutely packed so I didn't get to take any food photos, but there were so many yummy dishes! Here is Edric getting his guacamole! Thanks so much for taking me, E! :)

Arielle Ring, one of the most genuinely beautiful people I know, an amazing friend and one heckuva cook! Her kitchen is tiny, but she does a great job and I was super excited to help her cook dinner! :)

My man Cary knows how to do it with style! For the 2 Year Anniversary Party of his new location in Hayes Valley, Cary.Lane went all out! We started with some free drinks in this amazing basement side space.

Then moved along to some yummy treats from a few Hayes Valley neighbors: La Boulange, Paxti's Pizza and Dolic Bar.

Peanut butter banana smoothie.

Peanut butter (I only have crunchy right now.), one banana, a little honey, milk and ice.

Bleeeeeend, blend, blend!

Mmmmmmm. This is one of my favorites. It's great when I'm craving something sweet. :)

Jalapeno Cheese roll from Andersen Bakery, Japantown, SF.

This place is always packed, at every location. And I'd never been, so we decided to stop and grab a roll.

Pesto roll (left), Jalapeno Cheese roll (left). Ed, Jess and I split the Jalapeno Cheese roll. The bread was a lot harder than I thought it would be. And it was greasy because of the cheese. Not my favorite roll, but I bet some of the other pastries are better.

Momo's before Opera at the Ballpark, South Beach, SF.

Onion rings. Very nicely battered and fried.

Momo's is Richard's favorite so we went to have some drinks and food before heading to Opera at the Ballpark! I had press entry so it was nice not having to wait in the massive lines! Thank you SO much, SF Opera!

Cheese fries. These are just okay.

Wings. No complaints.

AT&T Field, home of the SF Giants. I love seeing crowds like this and it's always so fun to be out on the field, hanging out, eating and drinking with friends. :)

The SF Opera's Aida, telecasted from the Veterans War Memorial on Van Ness. The opera was fantastic, but we only stayed through the first half because it was freezing!

Peaches and cheese.

I love peaches! My cousin in Korea is allergic to peaches of all things--so sad.

This white cheddar is alas, not Tillamook's Vintage White Extra Sharp Cheddar (my absolute favorite). I don't know why it's so hard to get Tillamook here--we're bordering states!

Such a lovely snack though.

Must try: The Burger Lounge at The Four Seasons, Downtown, SF.

I was invited out to The Four Seasons restaurant to try their The Burger Lounge, which launched just last month. So get this--on Sundays and Mondays, you can order a burger, fries AND a cocktail/wine pairing for just $20. Amazing. I ordered the Duck Fat Burger and chose to get the cocktail pairing--this huge, delicious coffee cocktail that I would definitely get again.

We started with the tuna tartare. This tartare has great flavor and texture balances.

Olive platter: pickled olives, fried cheese-stuffed olives, olive tapenade. I had never seen fried olives before, but this was brilliant! They could have used a tiny bit more cheese, but such a great idea. The tapenade was really fantastic, too. It had the perfect saltiness to it.

Duck Fat Burger with pickles, perfectly crisp fries, peppercorn ranch spread/dip. These burgers are no small feat!

Yes, that would be thick, delicious slabs of pork belly in their BLT! Un-real. The pork belly was so tender and succulent--it really added to the burger and tasted amazing. I actually preferred this burger to the Duck Fat Burger, although they were both SO good. After the appetizers I couldn't even get through half of my burger, but was excited to wrap it up for later!

We finished with the Fondue plate. The Four Seasons has a new pastry chef for NYC that I'm going to get the scoop on soon! He's created a few new dishes and just take a look at the photo--do I even need to say anything?!

On one side you have fresh berries, and on the other you have a mix of two-bite brownies, marshmallows, rice crispies, and the most amazing banana bread I've ever had in my life. And then you get to dunk it all in warm caramel and/or a heavenly dark chocolate sauce! Now that's what I call a fun, fantastic dessert. :)

World Cup, Wine & Swine: Part 1, Cahill Winery, Sonoma, CA.

World Cup US vs. England! :) My long lost friend Tyler invited me up to Cahill winery (where he got his start in the wine business on a semester off from college) for this amazing Wine & World Cup party! Such a great idea and this warehouse room was perfect--I swear, it felt like it was air conditioned!

A buffet of Costco goodies--my favorite! I'm excited to say I have a few new favorite Costco delights now: the artichoke-japaleno dip and their salsa!

Post-game agenda: tastings, playing catch, Russian River, and a huge pig roast!

"Tuxedo Night" Part 2: Grubstake, Polk, SF.

After quite a bit of drinking.. fried food sounded AMAZING. :) Jalapeno poppers!

And this fabulous bacon, fried egg, cheeseburger! I split this and the poppers with a friend and it was perfect!

On your birthday you get a free slice of pie at Grubstake--yay! The photo looks like it's an omelette, but really they just have a big slice of vanilla ice cream over a slice of apple pie. :) The apple pie was amazing, too! Most are chunky, but the apples in this pie were very thinly sliced, which I just loved!

Nachos at Nick's Crispy Tacos, Russian Hill, SF.

We were starving after the scavenger hunt so Nick's it was! Nick's chips are good, but this wasn't awesome. It just didn't have much flavor--even after I drenched it in salsa! I should have stuck with their taco salad! :(

The nachos at The Taco Shop at Underdog's looked ammmazing last time I was there though!

Weird Fish, Mission, SF.

I didn't have my camera with me because I went for a run before, but my friend Judith and I decided to try Weird Fish after some hardcore thrift shopping in the Mission!

We each got a fish taco with mango salsa and then we shared the mashed yams with coconut milk, and an order of fries! The yams were super interesting. They weren't my favorite, and were kind of the same consistency as pumpkin pie. I don't like my food that pureed. The fries looked awesome, but weren't crispy enough for me--a bit soggy. The taco was nice though!

The space itself is so so cute. I love it there. It's the perfect size for a little spot in the Mission, the prices are right and the service was great. :)

This was what was left over! I went to the candy bin at the Century Theater in Westfield Center. After my big dinner though, I wasn't able to eat much candy during the movie. We went to a preview of Get Him To The Greek. It was HILARIOUS. Completely hilarious! Haha.

My sausage! Amazing. I used a bit of my bacon blue cheese dip as spread, then put down the hot link and tons of caramelized onions--mmmm! Superb! :)

Such an amazing BBQ to lazy away Memorial Day! Pat has such a lovely rooftop and rounded up a fine bunch of friends to celebrate and eat all day with!

Garlic, bacon blue cheese dip.

I didn't use exact measurements, but I used a lot of heavy cream, some cream cheese, blue cheese, sour cream, a little flour, garlic, garlic salt in a medium pan and kept stirring it over medium heat.

Baaacon.

Mix in the bacon, add some freshly ground black pepper to taste. I should have topped this with some chives and bacon bits, but was in a rush and forgot! The dip was awesome though! :)
