Mid-week brunch at The Blue Fig, Mission, SF.

I can't seem to find the site for Teaze, but their tea infuser is amazing! I was blown away! You really have to see one in action to get the full effect--it's a bit difficult to explain, but if you can, try one! I want to buy one and managed to find one on eBay!

Jesse's sweet waffle. Mmmmm.

Savory waffle. MMMMM! I loved this! It's essentially a salad on top of a waffle. It kind of reminded of this amazing pizetta I had at Fly Bar awhile back. It was a pizza topped with salad, which I love! I actually preferred this to the sweet waffle, which says a lot. ;)

I had been wanting to try The Blue Fig for a long time and it finally worked out. It's a cute little cafe--nothing fancy, but good people and great prices. It's strange though because they don't have hours. They stay open until the last person leaves! It's an interesting idea for a place and I feel like they could be a nice late-night dining option, but I guess only if people stay that late!

Halloween party at Lana's, Richmond, SF.

I loved these little shots! I'm not sure what exactly went in them, but I know there was some jalapeno and sliced green grapes! I loved the grapes in this drink! Very refreshing.

I was a Mad Men-esque 50's housewife! Lana has this great updated vintage stove that went so perfectly with my outfit! :) Note: the cigarette is only a prop, of course!

Fun finds from Murphy's and Jamestown, CA.

After visiting the Mercer Cavern's we decided to walk around the town and see what Murphy's, CA, had to offer! It's the most adorable little town and they had this great estate sale where I found this frosting spatula for $1! What a find! :)

Then I found this fabulous apron for $6 (and then 20% off!) at a antiques store in Jamestown, CA. Now, I won't be wearing this apron while cooking, but it's still super cute! :)

Cast iron Ebelskiver pan from Goodwill.

I'm SO excited that I found this! It was $5 at Goodwill! Yay! I have to clean it up and make it amazing, but I'm SOOO excited! :)

I found this article on how to renew cast iron, but if anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears!

Mother's Day gifts from Williams Sonoma.

The Ici Silicone Tools from Williams Sonoma are my favorite. They are awesome so I decided to get a set for my mom for Mother's Day!

I got the spoon and the spatula, which are the two I use the most. These images are from the Williams Sonoma website.

Williams Sonoma will do a free gift wrap, which is great! I didn't have time for it though so they sent me off with a box, wrapping paper, ribbon and this great, signature cookie cutter to tie into the ribbon!

I didn't even notice this was a cutter until I really thought about it.. Very cool! Momma doesn't bake cookies so I decided to keep this. :) I'm excited to use it for little biscuits!

This was my first cioppino, in fact--I, know, I'm a bad San Franciscan! This is a holiday tradition for NB and it was absolutely delicious. A hearty soup with lots of beautiful seafood--perfect for NB, since he's a pesca-vegan. ;)

Vegan apple pie.

If they hadn't told me, I wouldn't have known it was vegan. I've had my share of vegan baked goods and I usually come out quite disappointed, but this blew me away. I would actually make this pie over normal apple pie! I've requested the recipe from NB's mother, so I'll be able to make my own soon!

My roommate got me a gift card to Williams-Sonoma so I picked out a few goodies! I LOVE my W-S silicone spatula so I thought I'd get a matching silicone spoon! And this pocket pie mold was just too cute to resist!

My new Olde Thompson spice rack.

This was in the clearance section at Sur La Table! On sale for $30, originally $60. Yaaaaay! I'm super excited. I've needed spices soooo badly!
