Venezuelan at Caracas, Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Ensalata mixta.

La vegetariana AREPAS!! Ashley and I shared this wonderful vegetarian sampler. So so so yum! I don't love tortillas and I don't super love the arepa bread either, but I definitely like it better than tortillas. The stuffing in pita would be heaven though. ;)

Venezuelan food is a must in NYC though. I can't believe I haven't found a place in SF yet.

Once Upon a Tart, SoHo, NYC.

Lemon tart. :)

Brazilian brunch at BarBossa, Nolita, NYC.

This was some crazy Brazilian french toast contraption.. bread with an over-easy egg, some sort of tomato sauce and these super tasty sausage slices.

Westville East, East Village, NYC.

Westville does this amazing thing where you can choose 4 sides for $13. BRILLIANT. And there are about 20 to choose from and they all sound amazing, so it's super difficult to choose! :) I got: lemon asparagus with parmesan; pesto mashed potatoes; fried plantains with feta; sweet potato fries. SO SO SO SO GOOD. I want to eat here always!

Bassetts Ice Cream! Mint chocolate chip, coffee and strawberry. Soooo creamy and tasty.

Schwarma sandwich at Oasis, Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

OMG SOOOO DELICIOUS.

Drinks and dessert at Abe & Arthur's, Meatpacking District, NYC.

French toast bread pudding with bourbon style maple syrup and butter-pecan ice cream.

Absolutely yum.

We love champagne.

AR has great friends in NYC because she's fabulous. We were seated right away and treated to complimentary champagne and desserts! So fun! Abe & Arthur's is definitely hot right now in NYC.

Dinner at Roebling Tea Room, Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Pickled plate special.

Please excuse the dim lighting! No-flash is more classy. ;) In any case, the pickled cauliflower was my favorite. ;)

Arugula Etc. with walnut, gorgonzola, honey & pear

This was actually with grapefruit, which was diiiivine.

Poke special.

Mmmmmmmmmmm. I love raw fish. I can't believe I refused to eat it for so long.

Fred's at Barneys, Upper East Side, NYC.

Club Salad turkey, smoked bacon, tomato, crumbled bleu cheese, red onions, mixed greens, french mustard dressing

The salad was very good. Very nice bleu cheese.

Emilia Romagna reggiano parmigiano drizzled with 12 year-old aceto balsamico

This pizza was UNREAL. Oh, amazing pizza, I want to eat you again sooo badly! :)

Fred's is my favorite housewife lunch spot. ;)
