Mixed greens with breaded salmon and wasabi vinaigrette.

Dinner at Eden's, Japantown, SF.

My old roommate Eden had the old roommates over for dinner. It was great being back in the kitchen and having a meal together again!

Mmmm.. steamy shrimp.

Butternut squash soup.

Lemon and cilaltro for the salmon.

Salmon.

Steaks.

The lovely table.

Happy belated birthday, Eden!

Brie and sausage omlette.

So when I don't have anything to eat, I just throw things into an omlette because I always seem to have eggs. :) This was a good mix.

Lost and leftovers at Chris', The Haight, SF.

Chris, cooking.

I cut the bread and made the dip. ;)

Pasta, potatos and short ribs = mmmmmmmm. These were all leftovers from a meal Pat and Chris made the other day. I love leftovers. And these reheated extremely well.

Erika, enjoying her first serving. ;)

Gelatiamo, Financial District, Seattle, WA.

I heart Gelatiamo. I love their teal and rust brown--gives the space a very classy look.

Coffee and strawberry. Coconut and strawberry. Sooooo good.

Ice cream cakes are my favorite.

Tacos Guaymas, Fremont, Seattle, WA.

Paul wanted to try some Tex-Mex, and, being from Texas, is a little snobby about it. Luckily he loved Tacos Guaymas! He ordered the carne asada tacos and chips and salsa, which I didn't photograph, but were very tasty. The salsa they give with the chips is their special salsa and is one of the best salsa's I've ever tried.

From the salsa bar.

Yummy Spanish rice.

Taco salad. Muy declicious!

Top Pot, Belltown, Seattle, WA.

Oh, Top Pot. We love your fancy "hand-forged" doughnuts and sparky flavors. The owners, Mark and Michael Klebeck, are super sweet brothers from Montana and, of course, crazy fabulous entrepreneurs of Seattle! Along with their five Top Pot locations, you can also thank them for Bauhaus and their most-recent, Sun Liquor.

So many scrumcious treats to choose from!

Foot long maple bars.

Our feast! Clockwise, starting with the top left juice: grapefruit juice, ginger apple juice, plain old-fashioned, chocolate ring, cherry blossom cake (monthly special), and maple old-fashioned donut. The maple old-fashioned in my all-time favorite, but I've gotta give it to the cherry blossom--that was some good doughnut in my mouth.

Toad in the Hole, South Seattle, WA.

Ah, there's just something so beautiful about a set table with tasty food. Paul's friend, Amy, was so kind as to have us over for a fabulous dinner with good food and good company.

Amy's husband, David, cooked a very British Toad in the Hole. It was my first time having this dish. It's sasuage and Yorkshire pudding. The pudding was just fantastic!

Honey Hole, Capitol Hill, Seattle, WA.

El Guapo. This is one of my favorite sandwiches at one of my favorite sanwich shops in the world! Big love.

Meatball.
