Strawberry cupcakes with coconut cream cheese frosting and candy pearls.

Apologies for this picture--my camera was going crazy and eventually broke on me. :( But here are the pretty, pink cupcakes. :)

Cream cheese frosting with coconut flakes mixed in.

PEARLS!!!!! My favorite.

I saw them at Williams-Sonoma and had to have them.

This makes me so happy. :)

Yay! My new favorite cupcakes!

The most amazing meal at Bar Crudo with Pat, NOPA, SF.

Oooo.. I'm loving how these photos turned out! Thank you for having such lovely presentation and interesting plates, Bar Crudo! :)

That's the head, pointing toward me, and the tail pointing off to the side.. ewe! :)

Thank you, Pat. You're amazing. :)

Going Away Dinner 1: Andalu, Mission, SF.

Andalu sangria is a must. The red AND the wite. ;) And now for a hot mess of photos--what didn't we order at Andalu??

Aw, our amazing waiter!

We had a group of about 20 so it was certainly a feast! :)

Andalu is a good spot in SF for big groups, because it's all served tapas style and you can try a bit of everything on the menu--which is exactly what we did! :) The service is great there, too, and the food comes out quickly, is all very tasty and inexpensive. Can't go wrong.

Korean BBQ at Jang Soo (장수), Outer Richmond, SF.

Richard and Debbiie (left) had never been to Korean BBQ, so I had to take them out before I left! :)

Side dishes (반찬).

Dol-sot bibimbap (돌솥 비빔빕).

Mixed. This is one of my all-time favorite Korean dishes.

Korean to-fu soup (순두부).

I don't know what this fish is in English, but maybe Yellowtail? In Korean it's 고등어.

Korean BBQ!

The whole shebang. :)

A traditional sweet rice drink (단술) that you have after a meal.

Post-Napa pizza at Little Star, NOPA, SF.

Fun art while waiting..

Brass Monkey.

The deep dish is nice for a deep dish. They use a cornmeal crust so it's grainy and interesting, but it's not my absolute #1 favorite pizza. Definitely worth a try and worth going back for more! If you can stand the wait, it seems like a fun spot to eat in, too!

Mumm, Napa, CA.

Grapes!

I love me my bubbly! :)

I got a glass of the Blanc de Blancs and it was very nice and crisp with some apple flavor.

The whole group!

Haha. :)

Ooooh, Napa.. :)

Dean & Deluca cupcake, Napa, SF.

We had to stop at Dean & Deluca for some sweets! :)

Red velvet, of course. ;)

Turnbull and Beringer, Napa, CA.

Turnbull.

Turnbull reds are my new favorite wine.

The Beringer estate is really as lovely as everyone says.
