Dessert at B&O Espresso, Capitol Hill, Seattle.
Light dinner and wine at Elemental Next Door., Gasworks, Seattle.
I love any restaurant that greets you with a glass of complimentary champagne. :)
Our server recommended this wine and it was perfectly to start out the evening. V drinkable, nothing too fancy--very nice. This was all so delicious. And well priced! All bottles of wine are $30 and the menu is served in small plates to share, tapas style. Our tab came out to $15 each for such a great setting, and outstanding food & drink!

Sunday brunch at Madeleine's, Downtown, Spokane.
We tried to go to Taste Cafe, but they were closed! So sad. I've been disappointed with Madeleine's before, but haven't had brunch there so thought I'd give it a try. It's better than their salad bar, but I was still disappointed with my meal. I think the omelette Judi got looked good though. Definitely not authentic French cuisine, as they have posted on their website though!

옴라이스 / Omurice: omelette filled with Korean fried rice.
This is a "fusion food" that is popular in Korea and Japan. It's usually served with ketchup zig-zagged on top, but I had mine with some Tapatio.
